Egg decorating fun!

Hi everyone, Julie here to share some inspiration with you.

We had some fun a few days ago decorating some of the lovely Easter eggs we have in stock, and whilst we're still not quite there with the finishing touches we thought we would share our work-in-progress photos with you to help inspire you to get creative and have some fun too!

So the three of us sat down together, each with a different sized egg from the nesting set of 3 which is currently available - while stocks last - and set to work, and this is where we're at so far .....

The youngest member of our design team chose the largest egg to work on. He decided to give his egg a coat of white gesso and then paint it in bright colours of acrylic paint. The painting is now finished and his egg has received a coat of matte sealer to seal it.

The most senior member of our design team covered the middle sized egg with one of the rice papers we have in stock and then applied a matte sealer. He's never done any decoupage before and we think he did a pretty good job of it.

And I had the smallest egg of the nest of 3 to decorate. I decided to give mine a coat of gesso and then I painted it with two different shades of acrylic paint. Next I added some pretty lace and ribbon and some self adhesive pearls.

All three of the eggs are further on than in these photos and once they're finished we'll share them with you on here!

So, we hope this has inspired you to have a go at this fun Easter project. There are endless possibilities for how you can decorate these eggs, it's fun for all the family, and they're ideal to give as gifts too, so get cracking and buy yours today - they're selling fast and once they're gone we won't be restocking them this year!

Back soon!
Julie x
