Dream Machine project inspiration

Hi everyone

We wanted to share this lovely project with you to provide you with some more creative inspiration.

This little project, as with those posted yesterday, uses very few products, but the result is something which brings a smile to the face of anyone who sees it.

Items available from our shop which were used in this piece are as follows:
- First Edition IndigoBlu Stamp - Camper Van
- distress inks and archival ink
- watercolour cardstock
- fine tipped paint brush
- self-adhesive foam squares
- glue
- scissors

Start by stamping the camper van image using archival ink onto the watercolour cardstock.

Using distress inks, water and a brush, paint all around the camper vans with a wash of colour of your choice, then paint all but one camper van grey. Paint the remaining camper van in bright colours to make it pop.

Stamp the image onto more watercolour cardstock and paint one camper van with the same bright colours. Fussy cut it out and adhere directly on top of the base layer van using adhesive foam squares to provide dimension.

Paint the mount with a wash of colour and allow to dry completely.

The two banners were computer generated and very easy to do. Just cut them out and fix them in place, one over the camper van image, fixed just on either end on the mount, and one at the bottom beneath the image.

Draw your hearts on white cardstock, cut them out and fix them in place.

This is such an easy and fun project and would make a really nice Father's Day gift too!

Bye for now,
Julie x
